I took this photo of my friend on a plain background because this makes it easier to cut out the image because of how it is contrasted from the background to the detail, for this photo i was inspired by mat ray, of how he would by the use of adding two different layers (images) on top of each other in order to get his idea and theam across to the audience. I used his techniques for this image, however i took it into my own hands by adding more than two layers and made it look out of the ordinary instead of making the image look realistic.
This image uses a great deal of contrast and bright colour which i perfected on Photoshop for the detail to stand out as much as possible. I used a Nikon to take this photo, the rainy morning gave me a great deal of detail and more for me to do on Photoshop. The shadows and lighting was used in my image to contrast out the individual bits of detail. I refer to ideas and theams that Man Ray uses, these techniques where the shading of the image and how the bits of moss have dark patches of shading.
This photo was taken in order to be a texture on top of one of my other images in order to create more detail for the image and for the image to be interesting, Barbra Kruger does this to get her idea ad theam cross to the audience.
